Australia is really suffering under this season's wildfires. They are the worst in decades and have already claimed close to 200 lives.
This picture caught my attention. Rescued by fire fighters, the Koala had burnt feet and was absolutely parched.
It will spend up to 5 months in an animal sanctuary recovering before being released back into the wild.
It will probably take Australia 5 months to douse these fires and assess the damage.
