A Glimpse of History
Bogs are swampy areas found in areas of Northern Europe. The low oxygen levels at the bottom make them excellent for preserving dead things. Including people.
Last month, bodies were found in one that were over 2,000 years old, yet perfectly preserved. The above captioned body was obviously hanged for some reason, sacrifice or punitive punishment for some crime. Apparently not that uncommon 2000 years ago in some cultures.
