Gorky Park Revisited

Remember William Hurt and Brian Dennehy in Gorky Park (1983)?

According to Reuters the above picture shows the different stages of reconstruction of the face of German composer Johann Sebastian Bach. This is the first representation of Bachs face made using his excavated skull (dug up in 1894-Reuters doesn't say why). Researchers said on Thursday that it should be a better likeness of the composer than in existing sculptures and paintings where he was usually portrayed as an older guy with a big white wig common to the period.

Who knew that the man who wrote some of the world's best classical masterpieces looked like he would have easily fit in on the set of Goodfellows or The Sopranos.

"What do you mean I'm funny? Funny how? Funny perculiar or funny ha ha?"
