Breaking news for you soccer fans. There is more than just Euro 2008 happening this week. Reuters is reporting that Austria drew first blood on Sunday when their topless women's soccer team beat Germany 10-5.
Apparently, the quality of play was lacking but it still managed to attract a large audience of mostly male soccer fans. The match was organized by a chat room website.
In other news, an Italian man was arrested for kidnapping his ex-girlfriend and forcing her to iron his clothes and wash the dishes, police said Monday.
The 43-year-old man dragged the woman out of a bar and took her to his home where he made her iron and wash dishes.
If he was upset at the break up, someone should tell him that forceable confinement is rarely a successful approach to "ironing out one's differences".
